Friends Forever

Hilary and I before she departed this afternoon. :-( I wish she lived closer!
We had a nice visit and spent lots of time by the pool. It was fun just chillin' and catching up after all these years. Hilary and I were inseparable in high school. Not sure how I have survived all these years without her!

Shopping! Fun for all except William...

Poor William at the American Girl Doll Store!

Happy Bowlers! Sarah and Rebekah were inseparable the entire visit! They plan to keep in touch on their iPod Touches.

Happy Birthday

Today we celebrated Eric's birthday with family and friends at Logan's Roadhouse. We gave him season tickets to A&M football! Whoooooop! He is very excited!!! It was an extra special birthday as we also welcomed a new nephew into our family. The kids can't wait to meet their new cousin. Happy Birthday to Eric and Cooper Bajer Green!

MAD Camp

The kids had a fun filled week at our church MAD Camp (Music, Art and Drama). Elizabeth played the part of a "yes" man to the mayor of Jericho.

Sarah was the grandma and had to fight off the tax collectors for her last pennies. Notice she is wearing Grandma Green's hat and jewelry. :-)

The girls showing off their artwork. The kids did all the artwork for the show at camp last week.

I picked up my high school bff from the airport right before the show. We are looking forward to another fun filled week with her and her daughter.

19 Months

Catherine is 19 months old today! I've decided to start doing photo sessions at home with my new camera. I still have a lot to learn but here are a few shots.
She was very busy playing with the Disney tea set from Nana Gammon.

I'm still having fun playing around with all the million pictures that I took. It's nice to be able to do all the enhancements on the computer and love changing to black/white for free!

Ice Cream

Happy National Ice Cream Day! This past week the kids took turns making a surprise dessert for the family. Above picture of them enjoying homemade fudgesicles made by Elizabeth and Eric! They were yummy!
Catherine ready for her bath. She loves ice cream!

Busy Bees

We have accomplished a lot on our house this week. The kids love helping Eric paint. He painted the entire exterior of our house! Here are a few pictures of the kids helping paint inside.
William is daddy's little tool man. He has done a great job cleaning his room too!

Sarah likes doing artwork before painting on the walls.

Eric has to go back to work on Monday. :-( We are going to miss him!Catherine watching the kids play outside. She has been mommy's little helper. We have done lots of cleaning and have started stocking the freezer. That will make it a lot easier when all their sports start back up in a few weeks.

Rangers Baseball

Eric and his dad took the kids to the Texas Rangers baseball game this afternoon. It is too hot in Texas so they were able to get great seats behind 3rd base. The kids took coolers with lots of drinks and spray bottles!
It was Bat Day at the ballpark so they each got a nice wood bat.

Catherine, Nana and I decided to enjoy the AC instead! We had a nice lunch at LaMadeleine. Above picture of a very happy Catherine eating her chocolate cake.

Bye Bye Florida

Our last day of vacation was spent with our friends Adam and Angi and their two sweet little girls. They drove up from Tampa to meet us for lunch at this fun dinosaur restaurant in Downtown Disney.
It was a cool place with a meteor shower every 20 minutes. The kids loved all the roaring and moving dinosaurs.

William was excited to see Ashlyn.

Epcot

Epcot is awesome! Our overall favorite ride was Soarin'. The kids also liked Mission Space!
Lots of rain the day we went to Epcot so we purchased these stylin' Disney Ponchos.

There are lots of beautiful waterfalls at Epcot.

We stayed at the Disney All-Star Sports Resort. It was nice having the shuttle service take us straight to the entrance gate of each park.

Our hotel pool. Not sure how they had the energy to swim!

Hollywood Studios

William fighting Darth Vader! Our goal at Hollywood Studios was Star Wars...Star Wars...Star Wars!! The kids were so excited about the new Star Tours ride and really wanted to do the Jedi Training. Our neighbor is a travel agent for Disney and she helped us plan our trip. She told us where and when to go to get into this very popular class.
Sarah did a great job at kicking Darth Vader's bottom although she couldn't stop laughing!

Elizabeth giggling too. They will remember this day forever!

William loves Phineas and Ferb.

The movie Cars 2 opened the day we went to Hollywood Studios.

Magic Kingdom

After six nights on St. Simon's Island we took a road trip to Disney World!
We made lots of wonderful memories!

Eric in a tea cup with two of his favorite girls.

William loved the race cars. Their favorite ride at Magic Kingdom was Splash Mountain. Disney knows how to control the crowds. We did Fast Pass and did not wait more than 30 minutes for any of the rides.

Catherine was so excited to play in the rain. There were lots of great shows inside with AC and we didn't mind the afternoon rain showers to cool us off more.
