Happy 15th Birthday!

Elizabeth turned 15 years old yesterday!  It was Tropical Tuesday at her high school.
I scheduled a dental appointment on her birthday!  She agreed only because she wanted to leave school on her birthday and go out for lunch.  We had a nice lunch celebration at On The Border.
Operation 15th Birthday was a huge success!  Elizabeth got her first iPhone!  We called her phone as she was opening it.  The ringtone was a dog barking.  Lol.
 She is super excited!
We also gave her a drivers Ed packet!  Yikes!
She chose dinner at Olive Garden.
Birthday Pumpkin Pie.  She did not want a cake.  We bought her this wonderful pie from a bakery on the downtown square.  Happy 15th Birthday to Elizabeth!

Fall Festivals

Last night Eric took William and Catherine to the carnival at William's school.
Catherine won this scary spider at the Cake Walk!
Today Sarah rode with Papa in the city parade.  William had a baseball game so we missed all the excitement.
After the parade the kids enjoyed the city carnival.  Catherine was so excited to meet the real Elsa from the movie Frozen.

5K Community Fun Run

The girls participated in a 5K with their school teams.  Elizabeth placed 3rd out of 471 runners in her division.  Sarah was planning to walk but ran towards the end.  She got 44th out of 267 in her age group.

High School Volleyball

Sarah won a volleyball competition during practice last week.  Her reward was sitting on the varsity bench this past Tuesday night.
The girls were so sweet to her and made her feel a part of their big win against their rival.  Sarah was all smiles.  Loved watching her make a memory!

Texas A&M vs Ole Miss

The kids had a three day weekend so we went on a family road trip to Aggieland!
The MSC has new additions and there were new pre-game festivities for the kids.
The A&M game started at 8pm so Catherine and I did not attend.  We made a good choice as the outcome was not good for the Aggies.
We got food (and Starbucks) and had a hotel pool party.
We went home via Austin and took the kids to the State Capital.
 It is beautiful inside.
The kids took a million pictures of us.
We ate at the UT version of the Dixie Chicken.
Gig 'Em in Austin.
