Catherine had so much fun at her first VBS this week.  Our church did the Workshop of Wonders theme.  The kids enjoyed imagining and building with God.

Happy Father's Day 2014

Eric was awakened to the burning smell of a lovely breakfast in bed.
He wanted to have a picnic and go on a hike after church.
The highlight of our hike was swinging on the vines.
The river along the trail is completely dry.
There were so many vines and the kids could have done this all day long.
Catherine is mad in this picture.  She did not want everyone making a silly face!

Perot Museum

Yesterday Sarah and her class enjoyed their sixth grade field trip to the Perot Museum.
Yesterday was also a very special day.  Eric and I have been married 19 years!  I enjoyed spending my anniversary with Sarah.
 Earthquake!
At the entrance of the gems and minerals hall.  Sarah has always loved rocks.
The teachers kept them busy answering questions on their devices.

College World Series

Elizabeth and her team missed school on Monday to attend the first game of the College World Series Alabama vs Florida in Oklahoma City.
She had to go back to school on Tuesday with very little sleep but it was worth it!
They had so much fun and made good memories together.

University of North Texas

Elizabeth had a softball tournament in Denton this weekend so we took the kids to see my alma mater.
 Future Mean Green Eagles!
The campus looks the same.  Hard to believe it's been 21 years since I graduated!
High school softball season is over so Elizabeth is back playing shortstop with the older team.
It was her first 18u tournament and she did a great job competing!
