Last Day of School

 Sarah with all her awards!  She also had perfect attendance this year!

Memorial Day

 We started the day by visiting Great Papa Davis's Memorial.

 The kids each released a balloon in his memory.  Catherine was excited that Great Papa caught her balloon.

 Cousin Dan and cousin Sheri flew to Texas this weekend from New Jersey.  We had a relaxing afternoon visiting with them.

 We enjoyed a nice cookout at Papa and Nana's house.

The kids were so excited to have them over to our house too.  We wish we could see them more often!

Futsal

Sarah tried a new sport today.  The soccer club she is trying out for is also playing in a futsal league this summer.  They won the first game 8-4 and tied the second game.  Sarah had 5 goals!

 We attended the middle school awards ceremony this morning.  Elizabeth received the AP ILA award.

 Elizabeth also won the Pride Award for 6th grade.  A boy and a girl are selected from each grade.

 Tonight we enjoyed her end of year Pop Concert.

 Sarah played in an end of season tournament this weekend. They played up this season on bigger fields and got 3rd in their pool.

This morning we listened to her play handbells.  It was a beautiful service.

Sandy Lake Park

 Elizabeth went on a field trip today to Sandy Lake Park for a choir competition.

 Spent the day at the Dallas Zoo as an early Mother's Day gift.
