Advent Festival

We spent the afternoon at our church Advent Festival. Catherine did not want anything to do with Santa Claus!
William on the other hand had lots to tell Santa.

Catherine felt better after she won the cake walk!

She also loved helping Sarah decorate the life-size gingerbread house.

The kids enjoyed all the animals at the nativity scene.

1st Sunday in Advent

Sarah played handbells this morning during our service. She did great and our church was so beautiful for the 1st Sunday in Advent. Listening and singing Christmas hymns definitely gets you into the Christmas spirit!

Hanging of the Greens

Thanksgiving 2011

The kids were so excited this morning to go spend the day at Papa and Nana Green's house and have a "real" Thanksgiving.
Sarah helping Nana in the kitchen making sure the yummy homemade noodles were ready.

Eric, Uncle Andrew and Uncle Dan frying a turkey. Big Dan used to work for Papa Green and this is the 4th Thanksgiving he has spent with us. He is part of the family now and we look forward to seeing him every year!

The kids patiently waiting for Elizabeth to break open the turkey pinata!

Thanksgiving Football

A&M has midnight yell practice the night before every home football game. We are not sure why but midnight yell had been moved to 8pm! I was very excited about this! Guess that means I'm getting old. On the Texas A&M campus.

There are lots of fun activities for kids at "The Zone" outside of Kyle Field. They also had a big screen with the Cowboy game.

The kids got their faces ready for the game.

The awesome Aggie band marching to Kyle Field. We enjoyed sitting by the band at a volleyball game too while we were there. At least A&M won the half time show! Poor Eric is still so upset about the loss. I keep telling him to focus on Christmas...focus on Christmas...

Thanksgiving Trip

We took a family trip to College Station this week to attend the Texas A&M vs. tu football game. The game did not end in our favor but we had fun making memories. I am so thankful for my beautiful family and the special time we spend together. The above picture is where we enjoyed our Thanksgiving Day feast! Eric wanted to take us somewhere with character and he succeeded!
Elizabeth and Eric ordered beef because they wanted to eat Bevo (the tu mascot)!

Catherine loved all the animals on the wall!

The weather was so nice. We spent one afternoon at Research Park on campus. Eric and I used to go to this park when we were dating.

William wants to play football for A&M someday.

Thanksgiving Feast

Today was the Thanksgiving Feast at our school. It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is 2 weeks from today! I brought the kids a turkey dinner from Tom Thumb so we didn't have to stand in line for cafeteria food. William was excited about his Thanksgiving cookie. Check out his new toothless smile. :-)
William and his friends. He plays soccer, baseball and they are ready to play basketball together.

Sarah was excited they could sit where ever they wanted today!

Peg Tooth

Today was a memorable day in our household. William went to the dentist to have his peg tooth pulled. We were a little sad to see it go. His new tooth is coming down in front of it so the dentist decided to pull it. William was a tough boy and didn't even cry. I was going to take pictures of his new smile but his lip has been numb all evening. Papa and Nana Green brought him an icee and he enjoyed ice cream for dinner! The girls were jealous but also very sweet to him tonight. I wonder how much the tooth fairy will leave him for a peg tooth.

Mini Methodist

Sarah won the limbo contest this afternoon while roller skating with her M&M group from church. Lol!

All Saints Sunday

We remembered Great Nana Green today at our church and last Sunday at Great Papa's church. Elizabeth placed this beautiful white rose on the alter in honor of Great Nana. Sarah also sang during the service. It was a beautiful way to remember such a wonderful Grandma.
