The Dallas Zoo

We took the kids to the Dallas Zoo this afternoon.
They loved watching the penguins.

Catherine is a light snack for this snake!

We tried to leave Eric at the zoo.

Afterward, we took the kids to the West End for dinner.

Slumber Party

The kids started Spring Break with a slumber party at Nana and Papa's house! Cousin Gary, my brother's little boy, was able to join them. They had so much fun jumping on the trampoline, making popcorn balls, watching a movie and staying up as late as they wanted!

Mini Green Reunion

Eric's Uncle John and Aunt Sandy have been visiting from Pennsylvania the past couple of weeks. His cousin, Chris, also flew in from California with her two kids. William has had so much fun hanging with his cousin Hank. He is really going to miss his new best friend. Wish everyone lived closer!

Happy 8th Birthday!

We celebrated Sarah's 8th birthday yesterday!
She was excited about finally opening her presents.

Sad Goodbye

Our good friends Angi, Adam (high school friend) and sweet girls are moving to Florida. They left today. We are very sad to see them go. :-(
William wants to move to Florida too.

Road Runners

Sarah is in the middle of her 2nd year with the Road Runners. They won this afternoon 8 to 2! Good job Road Runners!

Texas Blizzard

We got a record breaking foot of snow yesterday in Texas! Woke up to a couple of inches and the kids were so excited till they found out school was not canceled! I'm not sure how the teachers kept the kids focused as it snowed all day. As soon as we got home from school they went straight to the backyard. Catherine and I watched them from the kitchen window as they built a fort using the lawn furniture. Then they filled it with 100 snowballs! I was instructed to send daddy out back as soon as he got home from work. Poor Eric...he is such a good daddy "trying" to get away as they hit him with all their snowballs. I've never heard so many little giggles! School was canceled today. They were up bright and early ready to build Mr. Snowman and now they are off "sledding" with Papa.

Elizabeth is in the middle of her 4th year with the Hot Shots. They won this afternoon 20 to 4. Way to go Hot Shots!

Basketball Game

We took Catherine to her 1st basketball game this evening. Hooray for daddy's team...Rah..Rah..Rah!!!
The gym was packed and it was so loud. Somehow she slept through all the noise!

Tired Girl

Ask Elizabeth what she was doing last night till 6am this morning! Needless to say, Eric did not start her in today's game. She was barely functioning this evening!

Sunday Morning

We are slowly getting back into a routine. The kids were excited to take Catherine to church for the 1st time. It was nice to go to church as a family this morning.

First Outing

Beautiful weather in Texas this past weekend. We took Catherine on her first stroll. The kids took turns pushing the stroller.

Merry Christmas

Christmas Eve cookies and milk for Santa. They also put carrots outside for the reindeer. Rudolph made a mess in our backyard.

William is going to be a protective big brother. He was so excited when Eric came into the waiting room at the hospital to tell everyone about Catherine's arrival. William couldn't wait to tell mommy! :-)

It's A Girl

Catherine Abigail arrived December 21st at 12:24p.m. She is 6lbs 13oz and 19 1/2 inches long.

Above picture of Dr. Sheryl. She is the baby's doctor and a good family friend. We were honored to have her in the delivery room with us. She did a great job cutting the umbilical cord!

The kids are so excited but hard to tell from this picture because they stayed up till 3a.m. at Nana and Papa's house the night before!!

2nd Grade Music Program

Sarah had fun this evening singing all her songs from music class. She has been singing them to us everyday after school for the past few weeks!
We borrowed a robe from our church for her to be the gospel preacher in her class performance. Her beautiful smile lit up the room.

4th Grade Christmas Concert

Elizabeth performed this evening in her school choir. They did an awesome job!

Thanksgiving Day

We spent Thanksgiving Day at my brother's new home. It is beautiful. William had so much fun playing with his cousin, Gary. They are a few months apart in age....double trouble! While playing upstairs they found lots of Santa toys hidden in a closet....Oops!! It was a good day except for the A&M loss to t.u.

Basketball Tip Off

Tonight was the annual basketball Tip Off dinner for Eric's basketball program. Above picture of the kids with Nancy Lieberman! She was the keynote speaker and did a phenomenal job!
