One Decade

Yesterday was Sarah's 10th birthday! We had an early party at home since Elizabeth had her Confirmation Retreat this weekend. Sarah already has three more parties planned over Spring Break with Nanas & Papas and friends.
Catherine had fun helping me decorate and couldn't wait to help Sarah open presents.

She got an extra special lunch at school.

Last night she had fun celebrating at Spaghetti Warehouse with her crazy cousins!

We were so excited that Cousin Rob was in town from Pennsylvania! Jered, Ali and Rob drove all the way from Keller to join us for dinner. It was also nice to meet our new little cousin, Piper. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera and we got home with only a few pictures on our phones.

Go Stars

Eric and Elizabeth at the Dallas Stars hockey game this evening. They are having fun with Elizabeth's bff and her dad. We surprised Elizabeth with the game after school today. She hasn't stopped smiling!

Valentine Dance

I forgot to take a picture of her princess bun but this photo kinda shows the sparkle heart in her hair. She also has glitter. So beautiful and fun just like her personality!

Mavericks Basketball

Eric and William went to the Dallas Mavericks game with some friends last night. They had a great guy bonding night and made some daddy/son memories. These boys were so excited and did lots of loud cheering. Unfortunately, it didn't help as the Mavs lost to the Indiana Pacers.

Sunday School

Catherine coloring in Sunday School this morning. Elizabeth and I had fun in her class being substitute teachers. A classroom full of a dozen two year olds is never ending fun!

God Bless America

Elizabeth and her school choir singing God Bless America before the Texas Legends basketball game last night. It was a fun opportunity for them. Elizabeth and I were also on the JumboTron during the game! Unfortunately, we did not realize so I didn't get a picture! Lol

Basketball 2012

Today was William's 1st basketball game. He has been counting down the days to his 1st game and was sooooo excited it was finally here! The Cougars won and William had 6 points.
Sarah is playing her 4th season with the Roadrunners. They won today and she had 8 points.

Elizabeth #5 above (all three of our kids are #5). She is playing her 6th season with the Hot Shots. They lost 2 games today. :-( Eric is coaching all three teams! It is crazy during the week with all their practices but they are loving it.

The girls having a tea party this evening with Great Nana's china they received from Great Papa. They are also wearing Great Nana's hats and jewelry. Her beautiful treasures will be cherished forever!

Christmas Eve 2011

Sarah was an acolyte for our Christmas Eve service. She was so excited to light the candle and sit up front again. It was a beautiful service with lots of Christmas songs for the kids.

Christmas Lights

One of our favorite things to do as a family is drive around and look at Christmas lights. Tonight, we decided to walk around the downtown square area. It is so beautiful but hard to capture it on my camera. The stores had snow machines on the roofs. If you look at the top left corner of the above picture you can see the snow. Nice touch when you live in Texas!
It actually is very cold tonight and the girls did not bring their coats. We bought hot chocolate from the pirate ship above to try and warm them up a bit. I think there is a slight chance for a white Christmas this year!

There was an outside ice skating rink too! We thought we were in New York City! lol. The kids had fun throwing snowballs.

Catherine's 2nd Birthday

Yesterday was Catherine's 2nd birthday! My dad took this picture of all of us lounging before the party. I cropped out all our stinky feet!
Catherine wanted to open her presents first. She was very excited about her Elmo backback and has been carrying it everywhere!

O Christmas Tree

We took a little trip North this afternoon to a tree farm and cut down a Christmas tree for the 1st time!
The kids were so excited about picking out their tree and all took turns cutting it down.

The farm was beautiful and the weather was absolutely gorgeous today. Catherine loved the hayride. We also enjoyed hot chocolate and apple cider while we waited for our tree to be wrapped and tied up on our car.

Fa La La La La

We have listened to some beautiful Christmas concerts over the past couple of weeks. Above is Elizabeth (center in Santa hat) performing with her school choir.

Acolyte

Sarah was an Acolyte for the first time this morning. She was a little nervous so we told her everything would be okay as long as she didn't burn down the church. :-) She did great!

Yum Yum Yum

Eric and I went to his faculty holiday party while the kids spent the evening at Papa and Nana's house. They made the best Christmas cookies! Even Catherine's finger licked cookies were oh so good!
