9 Month Portraits

Here We Go Again

William came home from school yesterday with a high fever. Poor little guy. He is upset about missing the Fire Clowns at school today and so worried about not getting to play his soccer game tomorrow. Elizabeth leaves for 5th Grade camp next week. Praying she isn't next!

3rd Grade Bible

Sarah received her 3rd Grade Bible during our church service this morning. She was so proud to go up front and get it with her Papas and Nanas all there to watch. She had a great time at her Bible Retreat today and is excited to start reading it.

Sick Baby Girl

Here is what happened this week when you put Catherine down for 2 seconds. She has been running a high fever since Sunday and has been miserable. We went to the doctor and it is a mean, yucky virus. She broke out in a rash and is feeling better today.

AggieLand

We took the kids to the George Bush Library. It is very impressive and worth a trip to College Station!

We were also impressed with the A&M Bonfire Memorial.

Eating dinner at Sbisa!! Brought back a lot of memories for Eric.

The kids had fun swimming at the hotel.

Texas A&M Football

We took the kids to the Texas A&M football game this weekend. It was the largest A&M home opener crowd in history.

Cate Update

Life with an 8 month old is never ending fun! Catherine has become my little "helper." She loves to help me do laundry. I sort the clean clothes and put them in the baskets then she takes everything back out again.
She also likes to "help" in the kitchen by taking everything out of the cabinets, everything as far as she can reach off the refrigerator and would LOVE to get into the dishwasher!

She is great help in the bathrooms too. Never leave the lid up at our house and keep all trashcans out of reach!

If only mommy would let me have the kitty food. She LOVES to try and has managed to dump all the food out twice. Fortunately, she has not found the kitty litter yet!

Catherine showing off her new teeth. Now these were hard work! It looks like the top ones are about to come in so we are ready for more sleepless nights in the near future.

Back To School

Today was the 1st day of school. They all had a great day and love their teachers. Elizabeth is in 5th, Sarah 3rd and William kindergarten. This is the only year they will all be at the same school! Catherine did fine today without them but she sure got excited to see them after school!

Laser Tag

The kids have enjoyed the free bowling program and 1/2 price laser tag this summer! Sure hope they have this program again next summer. www.kidsbowlfree.com

William had a fun day playing at a friend's house in our neighborhood. He doesn't get to be around this much testosterone very often!

Pep Rally

The kids learning cheers at their 1st Coyote pep Rally tonight.

Farewell Party

We had a nice cookout at Coach Steele's house today. Eric's coaching staff had a party in his honor. We all laughed as they reminisced about all the good times over the years. Eric is really going to miss working with these guys!

New Office

Above picture in Mr. Assistant Principal's new office! The kids thought it was so funny to be in the principal's office. Eric gave us the grand tour of his new school. It is so beautiful and the kids can't wait to go to school with daddy someday.

MAD Camp

The girls did a great job this morning at church performing their summer musical. They spent the past week at MAD Camp (Music, Art and Drama) preparing for this big event.

We went out for a nice lunch afterward with Nana and Papa Gammon. If you look close you can see Catherine's new tooth.

The Big 4-0!

We celebrated Eric's 40th birthday last night. The kids had so much fun decorating the house and making him a Dr Pepper cake. We got him an iPad but sad it did not arrive in time for his birthday.

7 Months

Catherine is already 7 months old! Above is an 18 second video of her crawling. She started the army crawl a few weeks ago and cut her 1st tooth. She is now full speed and into EVERYTHING!

Ice Age Mammals

The kids enjoyed the new Ice Age Exhibit at the Heard Museum.
They had a great time with Nana and Papa.
