Aggies Football

William is playing his first season of flag football.

His team name is the Aggies and William is #2.  GO Johnny Manziel!



Unfortunately their team is not doing as good as the real Aggies.

They did get their first touchdown last week!  But still lost.  :-(

His Aggie coach (a.k.a. Dad) is doing a good job teaching them to keep working hard.  GO Aggies!

McKinney Air Show

It was a beautiful day at the McKinney Air Show.  The kids loved it and enjoyed watching the planes take off and land.

William's favorite was shooting the machine guns!

97 Years Young

Yesterday we celebrated Great Grandpa Green's 97th Birthday!

Sarah is trying a new sport this season....volleyball.  She LOVES it!  Her team is currently 10-2 and in 1st place.  GO Lionettes!

Fall Carnival



It was a beautiful day for the Fall Carnival at William's school.



Sarah volunteered at the Silly String booth to get Confirmation credit.

Elizabeth worked the Bean Bag Toss to get NJHS credit.

Catherine won a fish and named it Kitty!  She is very excited about her fish.

3rd Grade Bible

William received his 3rd Grade Bible during our church service yesterday.

After church he attended a Bible Retreat.

He learned how to use his new Bible.

Sarah volunteered at the duct tape station to get Confirmation hours.  She helped them make duct tape Bible covers.

Hooray!  This morning was the 1st day of Heard Museum class.



1st Sunday of Confirmation

Sarah's 1st Sunday of Confirmation.  It was also the 1st Sunday in our new youth building!

The new youth worship area "The Hub" is so beautiful!

Labor Day Weekend

 Eric took Sarah and William to Aggieland.  They had fun at the A&M home opener vs Rice.

 I stayed home to take Elizabeth to her 1st tournament with her new team.  There are several girls on this new team that attend her future high school.  She is very excited about the change and held her own as the only 8th grader. 

 It was so hot!

 We tried to cool off between games.

 Catherine was able to beat the heat at Nana and Papa Gammon's house.

 She was so excited Cousin Drew and Cooper came over to swim too.

 Eric, Sarah and William stayed overnight in College Station so Sarah could attend her first Aggie soccer game.

 Elizabeth's team got 2nd place.  She had some great plays so we went to Cheesecake Factory to celebrate.

We ended the weekend spending precious time with Great Papa Green.
