Happy Anniversary

This week Great Nana and Great Papa Green will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary! They are a beautiful couple and a great role model for our family. We celebrated this afternoon with ice cream of course! Aunt Susie and Uncle Scott came to visit. It was nice to see them too. Happy 65th Anniversary Great Papa and Great Nana! We love you!

75 Years Ago

On April 19, 1934, Great Grandpa Green became a Methodist minister. Picture above is the congregation giving him a standing ovation for 75 years of service.
The pastor read this proclamation written by the bishop of the North Texas Annual Conference declaring today Edwin Green Day.

We all went to church this morning with Eric's parents. The kids liked going to big church and William took his first communion. The girls are wearing dresses made by Nana Green.

Afterwards, we celebrated at Spaghetti Warehouse. We all enjoyed Edwin Green Day!

Spring Festival

William's museum class had a Spring Festival today. Eric took off work to join in on the fun!
Everyone got to pet a box turtle and a bearded dragon lizard.

We went on a hike through the woods then the kids showed us the parachute while on the prairie.

The best part, of course, was all the food!

Happy Easter

It was a rainy Easter Sunday in Texas. We took the kids to Sunday School and we were teacher volunteers this week. Eric got to help teach William's Sunday School class this morning. As you can see the Easter Bunny and Grandparents gave the kids way more candy than they need!
We spent the holiday weekend at my parent's house having OkieFest. My mom is from Oklahoma and her side of the family came to visit this weekend. The picture above is William playing cars with cousin Cameron (my cousin Lorrin's little boy) and cousin Gary (my brother's little boy).

William's Birthday

Happy 4th Birthday To William!

William celebrated his birthday this evening at the ballfields during Elizabeth's game. We couldn't wait to eat these yummy Superman cupcakes!

Easter Eggstravaganza

Our church had an annual Easter Eggstravaganza this afternoon. The kids got to meet the Easter Bunny and went on an egg hunt. William informed us that this was not the real Easter Bunny!
They made lots of crafts, got tattoos and decorated cookies.

Their favorite parts were riding the train and jumping in the bounce house.

Basketball Banquet

Tonight was the annual basketball banquet for Eric's team. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the Country Club. The kids were excited about getting their own desserts.
This is a picture of William beside one of Eric's players. He is 6'10" and got a basketball scholarship to West Point. William has lots of growing to do!!!

Eric gave his end of season speech. He always does such a great job speaking in front of large crowds.

Pennsylvania Trip

Andrew (Eric's Brother), Charon, baby Drew, Cousin Jered, Eric and I flew together last week to visit family in Pennsylvania. The picture above was taken at Cousin Rob and Debbie's home. Cousin Rob is back center with three of their four children (Christiana, JP and Rebekah). Cousin Jered is standing beside Uncle John on the far right. Aunt Sandy on the right side of the couch. The highlight of our trip was the ICEC meeting!! (Ice Cream Eaters Club). Unlce Tom, President of ICEC, put Eric in charge of our meeting in Pennsylvania. Aunt Susie, VP of ICEC, made Eric a very special hat to wear as acting president. Eric wore it with pride!

Spring Break

We spent our last day of Spring Break having a girly bowling/shopping day. The boys had a March Madness party. Eric is still watching basketball! He hasn't moved from the recliner in two days!!!

Sarah celebrated her 7th birthday last night with 10 little friends.

Tooth Fairy Visit

Sarah finally lost that tooth! She is anxiously awaiting the Tooth Fairy's visit tonight.

Our New Kitty

Sarah spent the evening at our neighbor's house across the street. She came home looking like a kitty!
William has been busy playing with his dinosaurs this evening. He loves his DinoLand made by Papa Green!

Happy Birthday To Nana

Today is Nana Green's birthday! We surprised her with a little party this evening.

She had a rockin' birthday!! The kids taught Nana (a.k.a. Pat Benatar) how to play Guitar Hero.

Happy Birthday Sarah

Sarah is 7 years old today! We had a small family party this evening then she will have her "real" party with friends over Spring Break. Elizabeth has TAKS state testing tomorrow so we retired early.
We celebrated at her favorite Italian restaurant for dinner tonight. They sang Happy Birthday and she enjoyed chocolate cheesecake.

Softball Season

Elizabeth had a cold start to her softball season. It got down in the 20's last night here in Texas!
We are ready for some relaxing evenings watching her play and warmer weather!

Our New Little Niece/Cousin

Uncle Andrew (Eric's brother), Aunt Charon and Drew Caroline came to visit this weekend. We were so excited to meet our new little niece/cousin. She is adorable and such a good baby!
