Fredericksburg, TX

Eric and I went to Fredericksburg for a few days this week. We stayed at this bed and breakfast above one of the many shops on the main street.

Most of our time was spent eating (one of my favorite things to do right now)! We even enjoyed some good German food. Picture above was taken at one of the many bakeries.

Eric's favorite was The National Museum of the Pacific War. The kids had a blast with Papa and Nana Green. They did not want us to come home. :-(

William Loses 1st Tooth

William lost his 1st tooth this evening! He turned 4 in April so we thought it was a bit early to have a wiggly tooth. He pulled it out himself and we can already see his new tooth. He is so excited about the tooth fairy coming tonight!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day! Eric has enjoyed the day spending time with the kids. He had an extra special church service watching the kids sing their VBS songs then we went swimming in our next door neighbor's pool. Now he is doing one of his favorite pastimes...in the recliner watching the Rangers!

Camp Cougar

Elizabeth celebrated Camp Cougar this week with her 3rd grade class. Every year the 3rd graders get to have class outside in tents but the weather did not cooperate this week and it was too muddy to put up the tents. The teachers worked hard so they could still have Camp Cougar inside this year. Above picture is Elizabeth making her s'mores. If you look in the background you will see their homemade campfires!
Today they were able to do a few activities outside. One of their favorite stations was making tie dye shirts.
This afternoon they performed their skits. The above picture is my group on stage. They did a great job and have made wonderful memories of 3rd grade.

On April 19, 1934, Great Grandpa Green became a Methodist minister. Picture above is the congregation giving him a standing ovation for 75 years of service.
The pastor read this proclamation written by the bishop of the North Texas Annual Conference declaring today Edwin Green Day.

Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Green

We all went to church this morning with Eric's parents. The kids liked going to big church and William took his first communion. The girls are wearing dresses made by Nana Green.

Afterwards, we celebrated at Spaghetti Warehouse. We all enjoyed Edwin Green Day!
