Sarah and her friends competed in a beach volleyball tournament today.
Her team played hard and made it to the championship!
They lost to an 8th grade team in the championship game and got 2nd place.

7th Grade Awards
Sarah shined yesterday at the 7th grade awards ceremony. She received Academic Excellence Award (straight A's all year!), the Volleyball Award and the Pride Respect Award (surprised her teachers haven't seen her eyes roll!)
She was so happy to have all her Nanas and Papas share in her special day.
We are so proud of all her hard work this year! Way to go, Sarah!

Memorial Weekend 2015
We spent Memorial Weekend 2015 with three other families in a lake house on Lake Bonham.
The kids had so much fun on the boat.

We had fun inside too as the weather has been very wet in Texas.
My dad grew up in Bonham and his parents are buried here. We took the kids to visit their great grandparent's grave site for the first time. It was nice to drive around town and see my grandmother's old house.

Kindergarten RoundUp
Catherine was super excited to go to school for Kindergarten Roundup. She got to see the kindergarten classrooms and meet the teachers. Elizabeth and Sarah also showed her the gym, library, art room and cafeteria. Catherine is counting down the days till the first day of school while the others are counting down the days till summer!!!
Biker Girl
Catherine spent a couple weeks with Nana and Papa while I administered AP exams at the high school. She is so excited about Papa teaching her how to ride a bike.

Softball Banquet 2015

Heard Museum
Catherine completed her last Heard Museum class yesterday. All four of our children have done the two year preschool program. Eric also completed this program when he was a kid! The Heard Museum is a wonderful place and we hope the family tradition continues.
This is Catherine's bunny that Papa sponsored for her.
Catherine made wonderful friends in her class.
She is going to miss seeing them every week.

First Home Win
Elizabeth and her softball team got their first home win last night! Proud of these girls and all their hard work. It has been a tough season being a new high school with no seniors. They are the first new high school in their district to compete on the 5A level and play a varsity schedule the first year! Look forward to watching these girls grow together as a team. Elizabeth is back row left by coach.

LegoLand
William decided he wanted to go to LegoLand for his 10th birthday.
He got to invite a friend to spend the night afterward.
He loves Star Wars Rebels!
After church the next day. They stayed up ALL night!! He struggled through baseball practice and his make up soccer game!

Middle School Soccer
Sarah is 1 of 18 girls to make the 7th grade soccer team! They played their first game tonight and won 4-0! It is fun watching her play soccer again. She is #4.

Happy 10th Birthday to William!
We had a little celebration this evening but he is having his real party this weekend.
Having three sisters isn't always so bad.
