SW Youth Leadership Conference
Last week Elizabeth went to Texas Wesleyan University and attended the SW Youth Leadership Conference.
There were 44 students from other high schools in the region.
Above picture of her small group. Future leaders right here!
Elizabeth was sponsored by the Air Force. Above picture of her with Colonel Fowler.
She made lots of good memories and built friendships with some great kids!

Perrin, TX
We spent the holiday weekend in Perrin, TX with Eric's family. We won "The Most Patriotic Family" in the Perrin Independence Parade.
Catherine played three rounds of miniature golf. She was so excited about her hole in one.
The kids had so much fun exploring the parks.
Every morning the train would come to all the cottages and pick up the kids.
Elizabeth and Sarah playing their first game of "real" golf.

Texarkana Tournament
Elizabeth and her softball team played in Texarkana this weekend.
Sarah decided to visit the Texarkana ER. We thought it was her appendix but she has kidney stones. It has been a rough weekend!

Austin Tournament
Elizabeth and I enjoyed a long weekend in Austin. Eric was already there for a principal's conference all week.
We watched the bats fly out from under the bridge downtown by our hotel.
Elizabeth's high school coach drove down to watch them play!
The other three had so much fun with Nana and Papa.
Spiderman at Amazing Jakes.
Eating dessert first (Papa's rule) at the country club.
