We celebrated Sarah's 9
th Birthday last night! She did not want a cake. Instead she wanted Great Nana's chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. So I made her a cookie cake using the recipe. It was so yummy!
We let the kids choose what they want for dinner on their birthdays. Sarah chose Steak-n-Shake. We did not know you get a free shake on your birthday. Any shake any size! Sarah was so happy to not have to get a kid size shake. Dr. Pepper on top of that. We are terrible parents.
Catherine wanting to help Sarah with all her presents. Sarah is having a slumber party on Saturday night. Catherine will love a house full of 9 year
olds. Eric and William not so much. I think they are trying to plan an escape.
